2022 User Survey Report
The LCLS and SSRL User Executive Committees conducted a community-wide survey with the goal of developing a better understanding of User Community needs. Considering the societal discussions surrounding DEI, it was suggested that a survey of the user population might be a valuable tool to measure the makeup of the user community, and their sentiment in relation to these issues and other aspects of the user experience at SLAC facilities. Survey responses were collected between December 2021 and March 2022.
The role of the User Executive Committee is to interface between users and facility management, with feedback from the survey used to identify areas for improvement and specific issues that should become a focus of attention for both UEC and facility leadership.
