On Thursday November 12, 2020, LCLS & MeV-UED hosted a virtual “Town Hall” meeting to provide further information to the user community relating to the call for proposals which is open through December 14, 2020. This call for proposals is for beam time to be scheduled in MeV-UED Run 3 (May 2021-September 2021).

Royal Swedish Academy of Sciences’ Aminoff Prize awarded for fundamental contributions to the development of X-ray free electron laser based structural biology
The Royal Swedish Academy of Sciences has decided to award the Gregori Aminoff Prize 2021 to Henry Chapman, University of Hamburg, Germany, Janos Hajdu, Uppsala University, Sweden, and John Spence, Arizona State University, USA, “for their fundamental contributions to the development of X-ray free electron laser based structural biology”.
