LCLS Announcements & Updates
Dear LCLS Users,
A webcast meeting will be held at SLAC on January 18, 2018 to better inform the user community about the developments at LCLS before the upcoming LCLS proposal deadline for the upcoming experimental run scheduled from September 2018 – December 2018 (“Run 17”). LCLS staff will provide information about the latest capabilities, and be available for an interactive Q&A immediately following the presentations.
The annual users' meeting of the Stanford Synchrotron Radiation Lightsource (SSRL) and the Linac Coherent Light Source (LCLS) is a unique opportunity to gather together the lightsource community in a single scientific event that includes numerous presentations in plenary, poster and parallel sessions.
The LCLS Protein Crystal Screening (PCS) program aims to enable increased access to LCLS beamtime for biological structure determination by making use of short, 6-hour runs to screen the quality of different sample preparations or potentially collect a full data set under good running conditions.
We are very pleased to announce the first ever Virtual LCLS User Meeting to be held at 8 am Pacific time on April 12th. Please mark your calendars! The live stream can be found on April 12th here:
