On Friday, August 16, 2019 LCLS hosted a virtual “Town Hall” meeting to inform the user community about the latest technical developments at LCLS. This interactive webinar included a series of short talks by LCLS staff, with interactive Q&A throughout and open questions at the end of the session. The whole community was invited to participate, with members of the UEC and LCLS moderating questions to make optimal use of the meeting time.
On January 18, 2018, a Virtual Users’ Meeting was held at SLAC to better inform the user community about the developments at LCLS before the upcoming LCLS proposal deadline for the experimental run cycle scheduled from September 2018 – December 2018 (“Run 17”). LCLS staff provided information about the latest capabilities, and conducted an interactive Q&A immediately following their presentations.
