LCLS Virtual Town Hall on Site Access and Remote Participation, July 23, 2020
When: Jul 23, 2020 09:00 AM Pacific Time (US and Canada)
On Thursday, July 23, 2020, LCLS hosted a virtual “Town Hall” meeting to inform the user community about the latest updates relating to facility access, user presence, and remote participation in experiments. We strongly encourage all users who plan to participate in an LCLS experiment during Run 18 – either via remote access to experimental data or on-site at SLAC – to attend.
This interactive webinar included a series of short talks by LCLS staff, with an interactive Q&A session. For those who were unable to attend live, the slides, recording, and Q&A transcript can be found here:
- Introduction (Mike Dunne)
- SLAC User access (Sebastien Boutet)
- Remote participation tools (Omar Quijano & Victor Elmir)
- Data systems (Jana Thayer)
- Question and Answer Session
If you have any additional questions, please contact your experiment Point of Contact (POC) or email the LCLS User Office (firstname.lastname@example.org).
